something borrowed

hey peeps!

this is pretty much a filler post where i blab about useless things that you prolly don't even want to know. hehe. this is pretty much what happened since my last post. first off, i had my first math test for the summer semester. it wasn't awful, but it wasn't good enough. i was bummed that i messed it up (i think due to the insomnia i experienced the night before the test) because i could've done so much better. =( i am doing quite okay with the quizzes but i was just hoping that i could say the same for my test. but anyhow, i'm satisfied with the score that i got (got our papers back today) and i'm going to push for a better one for the next test! yoshhh~

next up! i finally called the guitar center here in nashville since my bro wanted a bass. but sadly, they sold it off dahh. i felt really bad since aseng asked me to call them up dh lama dh, but i had some issues and i kept on forgetting about it. sorry seng, i wish i could find another one at a reasonable price. lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that those airplanes that hayley keeps on singing about might just be able to grant a couple of wishes kay?

the effing german team just made my world cup seasonnnnnn! wohooo~ they were pretty much all stars of their own and the team work, vision and the whole friggin' game was art in its prettiest form. the passing were on target, the through balls were beautiful and the shots-well, need i say more? i admit that klose wasted a few perfect chances but a 4-0 win was more than i expected. they seriously went way beyond anyone's expectations. yes, we do know that they're a force to be reckoned with, but they truly killed the socceroos. serdar didn't get to play *sigh*. haha. anyways, im so psyched for the spain-swiss match tomorrow. too bad i have classes at 10am and the match is at 9am. -,-!

novels. novels. novels. i think its been ages since my last serious novel. ever since i came here, the only type of reading materials that i had time to read were my textbooks-which i don't consider as light reading at all okay? more like torture. well, tadi we all went to the bookstore (budak2 math, i think it has become a daily ritual. going to the bookstore and inquiring bout the electronics that they had on sale and stuff) and i had the urge to buy this certain book that i've had my eye on since last year lagi. title of the book is something borrowed by emily giffin. so far, its very riveting and the author has a way of making you root for the heroine. i'm barely halfway through this book and i think its a gem. go buy it, its worth it! if you don't really trust my judgement, look it up! besttt~

ps: at times, you can't help the way you feel about something/someone. it just happens. and sometimes, you find out that its wrong, but you can't do anything about it because you're too far gone. (blame this on the book okay? =p)
