well, if i hadn't had multiple conversations with this one person, i'd never know that they love animals. and that my dear friend, is a quality that you can never go wrong with. i have a theory, people who love animals are sweeter, softer, nicer by default. not that i'm saying that people who don't love animals are mean assed assholes, but generally, people who love animals are sweeter. they have this sense of i dunno, empathy? bukan, there's this one word. but i just can't seem to put a word to it. maybe it's because they can invest some of their feelings toward Allah's other creatures. tapi yeah, that's it. :p
i've wanted to address this issue for a long time. my facebook pet peeves.
1. liking your own posts, statuses, comments, pictures. [note that i've put (s)es at the end.]
2. thanking people for liking your posts, pictures, statuses, comments.
3. doing no 1 AND 2.
4. deleting your friends because you've had a disagreement, and then adding them up AGAIN. am i obliged to approve you again?
5. doing no 4 multiple times. screw you.
6. blocking your real friends. this is the most irritating thing. it's like saying 'hey, i still want to be your friend, but i just don't think you're good enough to be mine' the fuck? delete me, permanently. makes me feel better.
7. putting up a picture of some friend of yours and acting like its you. uhuh.
8. strangers adding you up. you don't know me personally, DON'T add me. i'm not interested in having a friend that i'm not going to talk to.
9. status updates every few seconds. no. no. NO.
10. excessive use of bombastic words in a single sentence. ie: today, i had the most scrumptious meal ever. (no, i don't want to know the extent of your vocab. makes it even worse when the mouthful is followed by or preceded by a grammar mistake :|)
11. when PeOplE tYpe LiKE thIS. yeah.
12. when people spell as such; kewl, gawd, kewh, yewr, kitew, kowunk, chayunk, diewr, you get the idea, right? ew. NOT. CUTE.
